Thanks, Dan'l. I'll always remember ANY discussion with your Dad, since I realized that his wholesome capacity for carefully listening to what [I] had to say was '0'-he wasn't very good at not showing his impatience, and after a while it was funny-his intense seriousness-about what he was about to completely negate-what he had not heard you [I] say. Strong opinions? Belief in his 'right view'? Gentle, sharing of the room's oxygen? All of those things! It was probably good that he didn't elect to be a GP, or a small town 'family doctor.' Would'nt hurt a fruit fly, if he could help it. He was sui generis! And now for something completely different- In Memoria ------------- Up-Falling Rain We who know and have known those feelings made heavy by full hearts filling lungs, lungs sighing open-mouthed for breath, We who have known have known the pain of passing- of souls nearer as no other, of none ever closer to our blood- reach across the mere illusion of time and space separating friends friends who carry each other's heart within their own, and wet their brimming sorrow with our own. -EAGLE AIR - New Spring: 2009 ----------- Forever Alas. Nothing lasts 'forever' but the loving of someone. The only time we have is 'forever.' 'Forever' must surely be moment-by-moment -simply trying to get to being alive. -EAGLE AIR Brookline Be well, DH-and our love to the rest of your clan! H/E & R.
