Hello. My name is Daniel Hellerstein. Just this past week my father, Earl E Hellerstein, passed away. He was 88 years old. In his youth, he was part of Workmen's Circle in Cleveland, Ohio. We are planning a memorial service. Since he donated his body to Harvard Medical School, this will be somewhat informal, with not a strong emphasis on Jewish religous ritual. The basic idea is to have friends and colleagues give testimonials. But it would be good and proper to have some kind of formal Jewish prescence, say a master of ceremonies who would introduce and otherwise move things along. Since he was not a temple goer, our thoughts were that perhaps workmen's circle can help out? The memorial service is planned for October 11 (the Sunday before Columbus day) evening at the Museum of Science. If this is something that you can help us with, please contact me at danielh@crosslink.net or call me at 301 928 0970. Of course, we can provide suitable renumeration. By the way: I also have several contacts in the Boston area who are involved with Machar (I am a Machar member in the DC area). I figured we should contact you first, since workmen's circle was part of his life. Thanks Daniel
